About rooms
The guest house is built in the compound of association Kafuli and it has 3 bedrooms (2 double and one single room with two single beds) and kitchen. Each room has an en suite bathroom (shower, toilet and tap) and a ceiling fan.
A kitchen is equipped with:
- sink and taps
- fridge
- gas cooker with three cooking stoves
- dishes and cutlery
Then you can prepare your menu by yourself or ask for the services of a woman of the association. In this case, the person responsible for managing the guest house will offer you the menu with prices.
The centre has a pavilion as a straw-hut and a library.
The pavilion-hut:
It was built for guests so that they can have a place in shadow for relax. It is surrounded by various plants (such as mango tree, lemon tree, banana tree, bamboo, various flowers etc.).
The library:
It is a place of meetings, information and learning and it serves to the local community. It has many adherents, we can count pupils, students and workers amongst them, mostly local residents. It is opened to the wide public with its hundreds of books of all kinds (novels, newspapers, dictionaries, science books, etc..), It is free for our guests as well as the Internet.
Transport:
Kafuli provides its guests with a motorcycle or a bicycle for travelling and leisure.
Room rates:
One person per room: 5,000 FCFA (6 euro) / day
Two persons per room: 7,000 FCFA (9.15 euro) / day
Volunteers and interns of the association Kafuli: 3000 FCFA (4.57 euro) / day per person.
The association Kafuli has a proper operation and invests all income from guest-house to the commnunitz development and running local projects.
